MOEEN NAMED IN SQUAD FOR OPENING TWO TESTS IN INDIA

Moeen Ali will be looking to add to his 200 appearances for England after being named in the squad for the opening two Tests against India – both in Chennai – next month.

The Worcestershire all-rounder has clocked up 60 Tests, 106 ODIs and 34 I20s for his country in just under seven years.

Moeen has picked up 41 wickets in 12 Tests against India – five Tests in 2014, five in 2016 and two in 2018.

England have named a 16 strong squad and six travelling reserves with the first Test getting underway on February 5 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
