Congratulations to Luke Simons and Scott Morgan as they completed a 29-mile walk on Saturday as part of their ‘marathon in a month’ challenge in aid of St Richard’s Hospice.
They walked from Edgbaston Stadium to New Road in memory of Luke’s father-in-law and ex-Worcestershire wicket-keeper David Humphries.
Joined by friends David Perry and Tom Hedges, the quartet were greeted at New Road by Vice-Chairman and David’s Pears’ teammate Paul Pridgeon.
However, their challenge doesn’t end there! They aim to finish their 26 miles of swimming and 26 games of squash to complete their Marathon in a Month Challenge before the end of October.
Luke and Scott’s Just Giving page has already reached an incredible total of £2,408 with an additional £517.75 in gift aid to be claimed on top.
