Worcestershire CCC Coach, Andrew Sutton played a vital role in the semi-final and final in helping Barnt Green retain the Birmingham Premier League Graham Williamson Trophy.
Sutton made inroads with the ball in the semi-final win over Berkswell and produced the same impact in the final success over West Bromwich Dartmouth.
In semi-final one, Worcestershire Club Captain, Joe Leach, made 65 off 75 balls for Shifnal with one six and seven fours.
Leach came in at 14-2 and was sixth out at 159 as Shifnal were dismissed for 191 in 38.3 overs.
Former Worcestershire paceman, Kabir Ali finished with 5-28 and current Second Eleven Coach, Kadeer Ali, bowled eight tidy overs for 28 runs and was his side’s most economical bowler.
Leach (8-1-22-1) took the new ball and he and fellow Worcestershire paceman, Mitchell Stanley, beat the bat on numerous occasions, but West Bromwich Dartmouth achieved a five-wicket win with 3.2 overs to spare.
In semi-final two, Sutton dismissed the former Warwickshire duo of Ateeq Javid and Dominic Ostler and finished with 8-1-32-3 as Berkswell totalled 181-9.
Worcestershire Academy product, Jacques Banton, struck 40 for Barnt Green who won by four wickets with four balls remaining.
In the final at Moseley CC, Sutton took three of the first four West Bromwich Dartmouth wickets to fall while Banton dismissed Kadeer Ali for a duck.
Sutton ended with 8-1-16-3 and Banton 8-0-32-2 as West Bromwich Dartmouth were dismissed for 137 in 39.5 overs.
Kadeer took the new ball and again bowled tightly, conceding just 20 runs in eight overs, but an unbeaten 54 from opener Ben Chapman-Lilley helped Barnt Green to 138-5 in 34.4 overs.
Former Worcestershire paceman Jack Shantry was one of the umpires.
