Upon the completion of the 2025 season, Worcestershire Women’s Rapids can today confirm the departure of six players from the squad.
Former captain Chloe Hill is confirmed to be leaving the club, alongside Imogen Hill and Samadhi Samarakoon.
Hill compiled 30 List A and 51 T20 matches across her nine years as a Rapid, playing a crucial role as a cornerstone of the Rapids side that eventually developed into a fully-fledged Tier 2 outfit.
A wicket keeper-batter, Hill, top-scored in Worcestershire colours with a sparkling 93* in a T20 group game against Lincolnshire in 2024.
Head Coach, Ed Wilson thanked Hill for her contribution to the side during her time as a Rapids player.
“I would like to extend my best wishes to Chloe moving forward and once again thank her for her efforts during her time as a Worcestershire player.”
The Club would also like to thank Chloe for the impact she has made off the field in promoting the team and helping to grow the women’s game across the county.
Imogen Hill and Samadhi Samarakoon will also depart the club after some valuable contributions.
“Although opportunities for Imogen and Samadhi were limited during their time here, they showed an exceptional attitude throughout and I am sure both have promising futures in the game.”

Elsewhere, three of Worcestershire’s loanees from the 2025 campaign, will be returning to their parent club’s, with Ruby Davis, Amy Wheeler and Hannah Hardwick all having played leading roles across the summer for the Rapids.
Wilson, added: “I’d like to thank the other girls that are departing us after their loan deals expired and are now returning to their parent clubs, they will always be remembered for being a part of our historic first season in Tier 2 and we wish them every success for their future cricket endeavours.”
