Worcestershire can confirm that Club Captain Brett D’Oliveira has sustained a significant injury to the lateral ligaments of his right ankle.
The injury occurred during the recent Rothesay County Championship fixture against Durham, and following scans yesterday, it has been confirmed that Brett will require a period of recovery.
As a result, Brett will unfortunately be unavailable for selection in the Club’s final Rothesay County Championship match of the season, which takes place against Sussex at Visit Worcestershire New Road from next Wednesday.
