Five Worcestershire players selected for the England Under-19s will be involved in two warm-up matches today and tomorrow for the forthcoming 'Test' series against Sri Lanka Under-19s.
Josh Dell, Josh Tongue, Ben Twohig and Ollie Westbury have been included in the England Under-19s side to face a Unicorns X1 at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough.
In addition Zen Malik has been chosen to play for an Invitational X1 against the Sri Lankans on a second pitch at the NCPC.
It will give the quintet the chance to impress and stake a claim for selection for the opening 'Test' which is being staged at Fenners, Cambridge from July 26 to 29.
Dell, Tongue, Twohig and Malik are part of the England Under-19 squad for the two Tests plus the three 50 over games against the Sri Lankans in the Royal London One-Day Series while Westbury has been named in the party for the two Tests.
A total of 12 counties will be represented in the two games at the NCPC.
