THREE WICKETS FOR PAT BROWN & FINE KNOCK FROM KADEER ALI

Worcestershire CCC paceman Pat Brown picked up three wickets when in Birmingham Premier League action for West Bromwich Dartmouth.

The England T20 international claimed three of the first four wickets to fall and finished with figures of 6-1-12-3.

Brown, the Rapids leading Vitality Blast wicket-taker for the past two seasons, helped West Bromwich to a 132 run victory as Smethwick were bowled out for 71.

Worcestershire CCC Second Eleven Coach Kadeer Ali had earlier top-scored with 80 off 79 balls with three sixes and eight fours as West Bromwich Dartmouth totalled 203-7 in 40 overs.

Worcestershire CCC batsman Ollie Westbury hit an unbeaten century for Himley  –  his fourth fifty-plus score inside a week.

Westbury’s unbeaten 108 from 126 balls with 14 fours helped Himley (236-1) to a nine wicket success over Harborne (235-7) with an over to spare.

He had struck 68 against Pelsall the previous weekend and in between made two fifties for a Worcestershire XI against Warwickshire Seconds at Edgbaston.

Worcestershire CCC 2019-2020 Academy player, Alex Hinkley, made 61 off 83 balls with two sixes and five fours for Halesowen (212-8) in a 37 run triumph over Barnards Green (175 all out).
