CRICKET UNITES FOR CHARITY AUCTION

SIGNED SHIRTS AND TEST EXPERIENCES ARE AMONGST THE LOTS IN AN ONLINE CHARITY CRICKET AUCTION SUPPORTED BY ALL 18 FIRST CLASS COUNTIES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ECB, PCA AND MCC.

A catalogue of 62 lots are now open for bidding at cricketauction.co.uk where cricket fans can secure international match hospitality experiences at Lord’s, The Kia Oval, Trent Bridge, Edgbaston, Emerald Headingley and Emirates Old Trafford as well as the shirts of Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer & Jack Leach.

The official prize donated by Worcestershire CCC: a bat signed by the entire Worcestershire squad can be bid for here with all proceeds going to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Glamorgan, Leicestershire and Derbyshire have offered unique coaching sessions with their professional players and coaches and Sussex have gone one step further by offering the use of their ground for a T20 fixture.

The auction forms part of the Together Through This Test campaign, cricket’s co-ordinated response to Covid-19 that seeks to highlight initiatives across the professional and amateur game.

All donors have nominated a charitable cause to receive the proceeds from their lots.

Worcestershire CCC Commerical Manager David Hoskins added  “It’s great to come together with the other 17 First-Class Counties, the ECB, PCA and MCC to help raise much needed funds for so many brilliant causes. There’s a wide range of items to bid for and for our contribution, we are proud to be again supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice”
