The Board announces the following:
1. Emma Hallam Elected to the Board
Per rule 17.5 following the resignation of Gordon Lord (due to relocation), the Board has appointed Emma Hallam to fill this vacancy. Emma was co-opted to the Board and approved by members at the 2019 AGM. Emma brings a wealth of experience to our Board, as senior manager for large corporates at HSBC. This will be put to members for re-appointment at the 2020 AGM.
2. Elaine Chandler co-opted on to the Board
At the 2019 AGM the Board indicated that it is seeking additional Board representation in areas such as Marketing, Human Resources (HR) and Operations.
Elaine Chandler has been co-opted on to the Board per rule 17.14. Elaine is head of HR at Universities and Colleges Admissions (UCAS), having previously held senior HR roles at Worcestershire County Council.
