Jack Haynes scored an unbeaten century and Adam Finch produced a deadly spell with the ball – including a hat-trick – in the latest round of Birmingham Premier League matches.
Worcestershire batsman Haynes guided Ombersley to a seven wicket victory over Tamworth.
County team-mate Finch wreaked havoc with the new ball for Wolverhampton in their 96 run win over Oswestry.
Haynes, who made his Specsavers County Championship debut against Northamptonshire last month, enabled his side to reach a 195 target with 13.2 overs to spare.
He faced 101 balls and hit four sixes and 11 fours.
Haynes added 65 for the third wicket with Academy product Nick Hammond (23) and an unbroken 95 with former Worcestershire all-rounder Gareth Andrew (34 not out).
Tamworth had been bowled out for 194 in 46.4 overs with Academy paceman Matt Davis returning tidy figures of 8-1-24-1.
Finch, who made his Championship debut against Lancashire this summer, enabled Wolverhampton to defend a total of 164 all out in 45.4 overs.
He dismissed the first four Oswestry batsmen in one superb over to reduce them to 24-4.
Finch struck with the second, fourth, fifth and sixth balls in dismissing Warrick Fynn, Xavie Clarke, Joe Carrasco and Connor Davies.
His spell ended with figures of 7-3-9-4 as Oswestry were bowled out for 68 in 24.1 overs.
Zain Ul-Hassan (2-35) and Henry Marshall (1-14 in seven overs) could not prevent Barnt Green (84 all out) losing by 100 runs to Moseley (184 all out).
Ollie Westbury made 26 off 38 balls but his side Himley (137 all out) went down by nine wickets to Leamington (139-1 in 25.5 overs).
