worcestershire ccc academy will be in action at New Road this week.
the county’s budding youngsters of the future will be taking on northamptonshire in a three-day game starting tomorrow (wednesday).
it forms part of the tri-series also involving leicestershire.
the three counties play each other in t20, 50 over and red ball encounters throughout the summer.
play will get underway at 11am each day and admission is free.
it continues the feast of cricket across all formats on offer at the county’s headquarters alongside the first team action in the vitality blast.
last week the climax of the physical disability series was played at New Road and yesterday the seconds participated there in two t20 matches.
