worcestershire seconds are in action at New Road tomorrow – at the start of a sustained period of cricket against their nottinghamshire counterparts of five matches in a week.
the county’s headquarters will host two t20 matches between the two counties beginning at 11.30am and 3pm.
worcestershire have shared the spoils in their past two t20 double headers against northamptonshire at kidderminster and durham on thursday at burnopfield cc.
after tomorrow’s two meetings, the seconds will take on nottinghamshire in their final championship match of the season – beginning on wednesday july 31.
the three-day fixture will be staged at notts sports club.
then next monday (august 5) there will be another two slices of t20 action between the two teams.
this time the host club will be grantham cc and the fixtures will conclude worcestershire’s north group programme in the competition.
