Fanos Hira’s inaugural Chairman’s Lunch will be held on Friday, March 22nd in the Chestnut Marquee and for those attending can be assured of an afternoon to remember.
The Worcestershire players and coaches will take a break from preparing for the exciting challenge ahead of their promotion push back to the Specsavers County Championship and their defence of the Vitality Blast Trophy.
They will be interacting with the many valued sponsors and guests, members and supporters who will be attending and also taking part in interviews in which they will offer an insight into the 2019 campaign.
Guests will arrive in the Graeme Hick Pavilion, where the bar will be open from 12.30pm before heading down to the Chestnut Marquee for a 1.30pm sit down, where a delicious three course luncheon will be served.
World Record holding adventurer and TV broadcaster, Mark Beaumont has been confirmed as the guest speaker for the event. Mark has become a household name through his documentaries about ultra endurance and adventure.
Having smashed the circumnavigation cycling World Record twice in his career, he now holds this 18,000 mile title in a time of 78 days and 14 hours, averaging 240 miles a day. His epic documentaries have taken viewers to over 100 countries, into the Arctic, the high mountains and around the Commonwealth, also surviving capsize in the mid-Atlantic.
