HOSE SHOWS HIS HITTING POWER IN IL T20 FIXTURE

Worcestershire batter, Adam Hose, smashed an unbeaten 35 off just 17 balls for Desert Vipers in their latest International League T20 fixture in Dubai.

Hose hit three sixes and two fours in his rapid knock after coming to the wicket in the 16th over against Dubai Capitals with the total 121-4.

He dominated the remainder of the innings and two of his maximums came in the same over from Dushmantha Chameera.

Hose also ended the innings in spectacular fashion with a six off Jason Holder over long on in a total of 169-6 after the Vipers had been put into bat.

He finished with a strike rate of 205.88 and it was his third significant contribution of the competition after scores of 45 against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and 39 versus Gulf Giants.

But his efforts proved in vain as Dubai Capitals won by four wickets after Holder scrambled a single off the very last ball of the innings.

Hose is the Vipers second highest scorer with 131 runs with only Alex Hales (145) ahead of him.

Worcestershire 2024 overseas player, Nathan Smith, was in action for Wellington in their latest Ford Trophy 50 over match against Central Districts.

He made 14 of Wellington’s 281-8, an innings dominated by 2023 Worcestershire signing Logan van Beek’s 136 off 99 balls.

But rain meant the game ended as a no result with Central Districts 90-0 off 19.3 overs when the game was abandoned. Smith bowled 3.3 overs for 26 runs.
