Charlie Morris was Tuggeranong Valley’s most economical bowler as they clocked up a hat-trick of wins in the McDonald’s ACT Premier Cricket first grade campaign
The Worcestershire paceman helped Tuggeranong to a four wicket success away to Eastlake.
Morris, who is in his second winter with Tuggeranong, came on first change and finished with 1-37 from his 10 overs.
Eastlake still managed to total 240-7 from their 50 overs after electing to bat.
But Tuggeranong reached their target with 2.2 overs to spare thanks primarily to 54 from Timmy Floros and 64 from Michael Barrington-Smith.
Another Worcestershire player in Josh Dell made his debut for Midland-Guildford in the Western Australia Cricket Association first grade.
Dell batted at number five and was dismissed for seven off 30 balls with one four.
Midland-Guildford were bowled out for 107 in 60 overs on day one against being put in by visiting Willetton Dragons.
By the close Willetton had reached 70-2 off 17 overs. The match will be concluded next weekend.
