EVEN MORE FREE CRICKET FOR 2024 WORCESTERSHIRE MEMBERS VIA RECIPROCAL SCHEME

Worcestershire CCC members will be able to watch eight other counties in home County Championship action for FREE this summer as part of their membership benefits.

Hampshire, Nottinghamshire, Gloucestershire, who were part of last summer’s agreement, are joined by Somerset, Glamorgan, Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Essex for the 2024 season.

A reciprocal arrangement means members of the eight counties involved can view County Championship games at New Road during 2024.

It is another major incentive to take out a 2024 Worcestershire membership, and details of the various membership packages are available by clicking here.

The only exemptions are the County Championship games between the counties who are part of the agreement.

It means members will have additional opportunities to watch live first class cricket throughout 2024 if they cannot follow their own respective teams away from home.

Joe Tromans, Head Of Commercial And Partnerships, said: “There is already a massive incentive to take out a Worcestershire CCC membership this summer with the return of Division One County Championship cricket to New Road.

“This has been reflected in a 27% rise in membership and we have a tremendous support home and away which is greatly appreciated by the players and coaches.

“But if there are occasions where we are playing away, and members cannot undertake what are sometimes lengthy journeys, then this reciprocal scheme offers an opportunity to watch more Championship cricket at other grounds.

“Equally, we know how much away supporters enjoy spending time watching cricket at New Road with its iconic setting and members of the eight other counties in this scheme have the opportunity to do so.

“Ultimately the more opportunities for people to be able to watch cricket the better for the good of the game.”
