EDAVALATH FINISHES AS TOP RUN-SCORER FOR SECONDS

Rehaan Edavalath finished as leading run-scorer for Worcestershire Seconds in their successful Second Eleven Championship campaign this summer.

Edavalath, who recently signed a new two year contract until the end of the 2025 season, totalled 544 runs with a highest of 169 not out against Somerset at Taunton Vale.

Olly Cox and keeper-batter Henry Cullen also made significant contributions with 400 plus runs and they also have put pen to paper on new contracts with Worcestershire.

On the bowling front, triallist Matt Burton made his mark and finished as top wicket-taker with 20 at 15.05 runs apiece.

He also made his mark in the game at Taunton Vale with a match return of 11-102.

Ben Gibbon chipped in with 18 wickets in addition to several useful contributions with the bat.
