Worcestershire CCC duo Rehaan Edavalath and Kashif Ali both struck centuries during the latest round of Birmingham and District Premier League matches.

Edavalath scored half of the runs for Barnards Green in their drawn encounter with Knowle and Dorridge.

The opener hit 105 off 169 balls with one six and 10 fours before he was last out with the total 210 from 52.4 overs.

Knowle and Dorridge held on for a draw at 166-8 from 57 overs.

Kashif scored his second century in three innings for Premier Division champions Smethwick in their eight wicket win over Kidderminster.

He followed up his 129 against Barnt Green earlier in the month with an unbeaten 115 from 78 deliveries with five sixes and 12 fours.

Kashif put on 115 for the second wicket with Worcestershire Assistant Head Coach, Kadeer Ali (59 off 78 balls), as Smethwick chased down a 236 target in only 32.4 overs.

Academy player, Cameron Jones, hit a crucial half century for Barnt Green in a 38 run win over Kenilworth Wardens.

Jones came to the wicket at 110-6 and put on an unbroken 63 for the final wicket with Adam Hines (20 not out) to lift the final total from 139-9 to 202-9.

His 54 not out from 64 balls contained one six and six fours.

Josh Baker had figures of 17-5-40-2 for Kenilworth Wardens but he was run out for nought as his side were dismissed for 164 in 49.1 overs.

Another Academy player in Harry Darley returned 7-4-12-2 for Shrewsbury who won by seven wickets after bowling out Berkswell for 156.

Ollie Walker picked up the last three wickets for no runs and then hit the winning boundary – his only scoring shot – as Himley bowled out Coventry and North Warwickshire for 117 and won by seven wickets.
