Worcestershire Academy will take on Northamptonshire in an ECB Under-18 County Championship top of the table encounter at Desborough CC beginning on Tuesday.
The Academy have taken 34 points from their opening two matches in the three-day competition courtesy of a draw against Somerset at Barnt Green and an innings victory over Warwickshire at Portland Road, Edgbaston.
They are currently one point ahead of Northamptonshire.
It is a busy period for the Academy who tomorrow take on Lincolnshire in an ECB One-Day Cup Plate quarter-final at Collingham CC.
Joe Stanley will captain the side in both matches with Seth Essenhigh and Luke Powell the nominated two keepers for the double header.
Included in the squads are Cameron Jones, who made his List A debut against Somerset in Sunday’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup encounter at Taunton, and fellow pace bowler Harry Darley who is also part of the squad for the 50 over tournament.
