Visit Worcestershire New Road is a cashless venue. All major credit and debit cards are accepted in all outlets.

Unfortunately, no dogs, other than assistance dogs, are permitted into Visit Worcestershire New Road for this fixture.

Entry into Visit Worcestershire New Road

General Admission ticket holders can enter Visit Worcestershire New Road through either the main turnstile entrance through the main reception in the View Building or through the gates next to the Graeme Hick Pavilion.

Sapphire Hospitality ticket holders should all enter through the main reception in the View Building, where you will be met by a host.

BEARD Terrace ticket holders should all enter on foot directly to the BEARD Terrace through the door off New Road.

Chestnut Marquee ticket holders should all enter through the Graeme Hick Pavilion gates on New Road.

Upon your arrival, your bags will be checked by our trained security team. Unfortunately, no alcohol is allowed to be brought in with you for T20 fixtures, but you are more than welcome to bring bits to eat.

Complimentary 4&6 cards are also available for all supporters at all entrances to New Road.

BY CAR

From north: From the M5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground. From south: from M5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground. From east: from A422, Alcester, continue on this road to roundabout junction with A4440 (Swinesherd Way), take second exit at roundabout on to A44, continue to follow the A44 and it will lead you to New Road, the county ground will be on your left. From west: from A44, Evesham, stay on A44 (east) and it will lead you to New Road, the county ground will be on your left.

Car Parking

On-site parking is available to book online. If you require a disable space you should also book online to ensure you have a reserved space.

The entrance for all spectator parking is situated on the hotel side of the ground, and the car park will be open from 15.00pm.

BY BUS

Once you are in Worcester city centre’s bus station that is beneath the Crown Gate Shopping Centre, walk out of the station, turn left, continue to walk straight ahead to a pedestrian crossing, walk across this and another pedestrian crossing, continue across the bridge over the Severn River and you will arrive at the county ground on your left.

BY TRAIN

Worcester Foregate Street is the closest train station to the county ground and is approximately 0.5 miles from the ground. To get to the county ground from Foregate Street station, turn left out of the main entrance, head towards the cross where you turn right onto Broad Street. Continue straight, across two pedestrian crossings to get to the other side of New Road, walk over the bridge, and you will shortly arrive at the cricket ground on your left.


Food & Drink

The Severn Suite Bar, Diglis Bar and The Long Bar at the rear of the Basil D’Oliveira Stand, as well as The Stowford Bar underneath The View will be serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Scoreboard Square & Bennetts Food Village

Located behind the Basil D’Oliveira Stand and next to the Old Scoreboard is Scoreboard Square and Bennetts Food Village.

In Bennett’s Food Village, towards the rear of the Basil D’Oliveira Stand:

Worcestershire members will also be able to buy a selection of food in the Tom Graveney Lounge of the Graeme Hick Pavilion.

Located in Scoreboard Square, to the rear of the Basil D’Oliveira Stand our Official Club Shop is open on all match days stocking a wide range of Worcestershire merchandise, including the latest training and leisure wear. 

Gifts for supporters of all ages are also available among the wide range available.

Public Wi-Fi

Free public Wi-Fi is available throughout New Road, which you are very welcome to use at your leisure. Connect to The Cloud from the available list of wireless networks and follow the sign-in or login instructions.

Scorecards

Scorecards are available at all from the Graeme Hick Pavilion and Club Shop. They are free for members and £1 for everyone else.

Toilet Facilities

Ample male, female, inclusive and accessible toilet facilities are located and well-signposted in various locations around the ground. Baby changing facilities are available in the Basil D’Oliveira Stand, and the Graeme Hick Pavilion.

Smoking Policy 

Smoking of cigarettes or electronic cigarettes is only permitted in the designated areas (by the entry to the player’s nets and the car parking area at the rear of the ladies’ pavilion/marquee). Smoking is not permitted on the grassed picnic area or behind the Basil D’Oliveira Stand. 

Smoking is also prohibited in any building or under any permanent structure.

Accessibility Information

Blue Badge Car Parking is available at New Road for all games when parking is available preceding each match.

Accessible and wheelchair-access seats are available in all areas of the ground. These can be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis when selecting an allocated seat.

To ensure that spectators with accessibility needs are catered for, the Club has five fully trained Disability Inclusion Officers working during all fixtures. In addition, the Club has a number of safeguarding officers present whose role is to ensure the welfare of all spectators and help everyone enjoy their experience at New Road to the maximum.

Sensory Kits

Sensory packs for supporters with additional needs will be available at Visit Worcestershire New Road.

The sensory packs have been designed to improve the matchday experience for supporters at the stadium, with the Club committing to becoming a more friendly environment for supporters with additional needs.

The pack, which comes complete with the following items, have been designed to make the matchday experience more accessible, comfortable and enjoyable for all supporters.

  • Fidget popper
  • Noise cancelling headphones (optional)
  • Fidget spinner
  • Coloured Pencils
  • Colouring book

The sensory packs can be collected from the main reception area during all fixtures, are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are to be returned to reception following the conclusion of the fixture. 

Hidden Disability Lanyards

We provide yellow lanyards for anyone with a hidden disability. These can be collected free of charge from the Graeme Hick Pavilion or main reception. Our stewards will be on hand to support and assist with any needs.
