Worcestershire CCC Academy (Under-18s) will launch their 2024 fixture programme with a 50 over double header at Kidderminster this week.
The Academy will take on Nottinghamshire tomorrow (Wednesday 3 April) at Chester Road and then 24 hours later will do battle with Gloucestershire.
Both games are scheduled to get underway at 11am.
Four new members of the Academy 2023-204 intake are included in both squads in pace bowlers Ollie Smith and Ben Clements, all-rounder Toby Cox and batter Fin Goodman.
Seth Essenhigh will keep wicket for both games after last summer making his debut for Worcestershire Seconds as a 15-year-old, with the captain to be confirmed.
The Academy are putting the accent on 50 over cricket during the opening part of the season when they will play seven successive games in that format.
