CULLEN CENTURY AND FIVE WICKETS FOR BAKER IN SECONDS 50 OVER TRIUMPH

Henry Cullen struck a century and Josh Baker picked up five wickets as Worcestershire Seconds defeated the Rainbow Warriors Touring X1 by 141 runs in a 50 over friendly at Cheltenham College.

Keeper-batter Cullen came to the wicket at 22-2 and scored 111 off 110 balls as the Seconds totalled 280-9 in their 50 overs after an uncontested toss.

Spinner Baker then brought about a collapse by the Warriors who were bowled out for 139 in just  25.4 overs.

Cullen added 85 for the third wicket with triallist Savin Perera (47 off 52 balls) and 60 for the seventh wicket with Mitchell Stanley (43 off 40 balls).

He was eventually seventh out with the total on 238 after hitting one six and 12 fours.

When the Warriors batted, Pat Brown (5-0-34-2) made two early breakthroughs and then Baker hurried his side to victory.

He ended with figures of 6.4-0-30-5.

Cameron Jones (3-0-18-1), Ben Parker (4-0-19-1) and Taylor Cornall (4-0-17-1) were the other wicket-takers.
