WORCESTERSHIRE DUO HOSE AND STANLEY TO AGAIN PLAY IN THE HUNDRED

Worcestershire duo Adam Hose and Mitchell Stanley will again be playing in The Hundred this summer.

New signing Hose and pace bowler Stanley have been retained for the 2023 campaign by Northern Superchargers and Manchester Originals, respectively.

Both had their first taste of the competition last summer in its second year.

Hose ended as the second top run scorer for the Superchargers with 182 runs, a figure only surpassed by Adam Lyth (299).

He scored two half-centuries, including a top score of 59 against the Originals, and had a strike rate of 159.64 from his eight appearances.

Hose then went on to enjoy a successful Big Bash League with the Adelaide Strikers and is now back at New Road preparing for the new season.

Stanley played in three games for the Originals after making his senior breakthrough for the Worcestershire Rapids in the Vitality Blast.

He had figures of 1-23 – when he dismissed former Worcestershire batter Joe Clarke – 0-22 and 0-38.
