CRICKET SOCIETY FINALISE WINTER EVENINGS PROGRAMME FOR 2022-2023

Worcestershire Cricket Society have finalised their 2022-2023 winter cricket evenings programme, which takes place on the second Tuesday of every month from October to March in the Graeme Hick Pavilion (7.30pm start).

The pre-Christmas slots will comprise of ex England spinner, Monty Panesar (October 11), Worcestershire CCC legend, Phil Newport, (November 8) and Warwickshire’s Director Of Cricket and former England Assistant Coach, Paul Farbrace, (December 13).

A Worcestershire player or official – to be confirmed – will entertain members and guests on January 10 and then ex New Road and England pace bowler Dean Headley (February 14) and current umpire, David Millns (March 14) will conclude the winter programme.

Membership of the Society costs £20 for a single and £30 for husband and wife-partner but anyone can attend the winter evenings as a guest for an admission charge of £5 per meeting.

Society Secretary Mike Hitchings said: “We put a lot of time and thought into trying to ensure members get an interesting and varied programme from some of the leading names in the game past and present.”
