BPL round-up: Three wickets for Harry Darley in Shrewsbury triumph

Harry Darley picked up three wickets as Shrewsbury raced to a seven wicket win in a Birmingham and District Premier League Premier Division Two fixture against Old Hill.

The young Worcestershire pace bowler took the new ball and helped restrict Old Hill to 127-5 from 22 overs in a rain-hit encounter.

Darley struck with his very first delivery to dismiss Hasan Ahmed and also sent back Bilal Hassan during his initial four over spell.

He then returned to the attack to account for Sam Keeling-Wright and finished with figures of 7-0-23-3.

Darley was not required to bat as Shrewsbury raced to 132-3 from just 13.5 overs.

Ethan Brookes scored freely for Knowle and Dorridge during their winning draw with Halesowen in Premier Division One.

Brookes, a regular member of the Rapids Vitality Blast side, made 37 off 20 deliveries with two sixes and four fours.

He came in at number four at 105-2 and was fourth out at 155 as Knowle and Dorridge totalled 185-7 from 35 overs.

Brookes then bowled two overs for nine runs as Halesowen held on at 119-8 from 31 overs.
