Worcestershire Supporters’ Association have been funding projects and providing financial support for Worcestershire County Cricket Club for 70 years.

You can join the Supporters Association or support them, and the Club with a membership or joining their Fifty-Fifty Competition!

The Association has raised millions of pounds since its formation in 1951 and purchased New Road for Worcestershire CCC in 1976 from Worcester Cathedral Dean And Chapter after paying the annual rent for 21 years.

The Ladies Pavilion, Chestnut Marquee, the old scoreboard at the back of the D’Oliveira Stand, the Brookes and Mills Stands and the new Net System were all financed by the WSA.

Five current players in Brett D’Oliveira, Joe Leach, Tom Fell, Charlie Morris and Ed Barnard all benefitted from WSA scholarships which helped finance coaching and playing abroad during the winter.

But those projects are just the top of the iceberg in terms of the help the WSA have provided.

The Association also provided support during challenging financial times for Worcestershire CCC, solved short term cash flows, aided with flood damage repairs and even purchased houses for players.

The WSA have funded the upgrading of equipment needed by groundstaff, including the current tractor,  sheeting to cover the main square and new tops for the wheeled covers, terraced seating, the former dressing rooms, the old Members Pavilion, the previous club offices etc.

It has all contributed towards Worcestershire CCC surviving and thriving on and off the field during the past seven decades and the current Fifty-Fifty competition continues to raise funds for the Ground Improvement Fund.
