Worcestershire Under-17s gained a first innings lead and extended their overall advantage to 129 by the end of day two in their ECB County Championship clash with Gloucestershire Under-17s at King's School, Gloucester.
The home side were bowled out for 253 in reply to Worcestershire's 314 with Zain Ul-Hassan returning the best figures of 3-26 from nine overs.
His victims included keeper B. Allen who top-scored with 84 before he was sixth out with the total 173.
Gloucestershire were 58-4 at one stage with two of the wickets falling to paceman Matt Davis.
Allen and D. Hooper (36) put on 85 for the fifth wicket and then G. Pritchard and J. Curtis added a further 41 for the final wicket.
Worcestershire built on their first innings lead in reaching 68-2 for the close.
Skipper Callum Lea (22) and fellow opener Jujhar Johal (21) added 40 but the two batsmen were dismissed by the close.
