Worcestershire CCC will be competing in their 25th semi-final since one-day cricket began in 1963 when they take on Surrey in today's Royal London One-Day Cup tie.
The County featured in the very first semi-final 54 years ago when they thrashed Lancashire by nine wickets at New Road with Jack Flavell returing 6-14.
Their last one was in 2004 when they defeated Warwickshire by 41 runs in the C and G Trophy at Edgbaston thanks to a century from Vikram Solanki.
Worcestershire's overall record in semi-final ties has produced 13 wins and 11 defeats.
This will be their first last four meeting with Surrey since an incredible game at The Oval in 1994.
Worcestershire scored 357-2 and then edged home after bowling Surrey out for 350 in the final over.
Worcestershire have a better away record than in front of their home supporters in sem-finals.
They have won six and lost eight at New Road but triumphed in seven and lost just three on opponents grounds.
But the last semi-final at New Road was one of the most memorable with Lancashire looking favourites to win in the C and G Trophy until Andrew Hall picked up three wickets in the final over.
It sparked wild scenes of celebration with South African all-rounder Hall carried shoulder high from the field by jubilant supporters.
Now County fans will be hoping for a similar outcome today!
