Matt Mason has revealed his 'dream team' and it contains NINE former Worcestershire players.
Worcestershire assistant coach Mason names the top 11 of the players he has played with and against in the the Cricket Paper.
Mason, who is also the County's bowling coach, has selected Tom Moody, Graeme Hick, Phil Hughes, Phil Jaques, Steve Rhodes, Andy Bichel, Saeed Ajmal, Allan Donald and Zaheer Khan in his side.
It was Moody who brought Mason to New Road in the early 2000s when Director Of Cricket.
Mason said: "Tom was a mentor of mine from a very young age. He was captain of my club side in Perth and later went onto captain me for our state side Western Australia."
Now Moody's successor Rhodes has handed Mason the chance to be part of the backroom staff at Worcestershire after the paceman retired in 2011.
Mason said: "He was one of the first guys I met when I came over here to Worcestershire. A fantastic wicket-keeper who served his county for more than two decades.
"He's been a great help to me in my career and now I work for him, which is nice."
The remainder of Mason's team is made up of two Australian batsmen in Justin Langer and Damien Martyn.
