WORCESTERSHIRE UNDER-18S TO TAKE ON BEARS IN 50 OVER FRIENDLY

Worcestershire CCC Under-18 are back in action with a re-arranged fixture against Warwickshire Under-18 at Coombs Wood, Halesowen, today (Wednesday).

The Under-18s, featuring members of the Worcestershire CCC Academy, are taking a break from ECB County Cup action for the friendly encounter.

It will be the third meeting of the summer with their local rivals and has been re-arranged from last month.

Worcestershire won a 50 over game at Kidderminster by nine wickets thanks to an unbeaten 81 from Rehaan Edavalath.

Warwickshire triumphed by 114 runs in another contest at the same venue despite a century from Henry Cullen.

Joe Stanley will again captain the Under-18s with Luke Powell keeping wicket, and play will get underway at 10am.
