The focus will be on providing a menu of sustainable food and drinks of the highest quality, which are ethically produced where possible.
Customers will also have the opportunity to peruse and buy the latest range of Worcestershire CCC products in the Official Club Shop, which will be based in the former children’s play area.
The wide range of items on sale will include Leisure Wear, Training Wear, Match Wear, Caps, T-shirts, Polo Shirts, Books, Mugs and Confectionery.
Those with love and affiliation for Worcestershire CCC will also enjoy the Club Memorabilia, which will decorate the walls and cabinets in the New Road Club Shop And Café and recognise the club’s long and successful history.
It will be open to the public each day from 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, and there will be two hours of free parking for customers on the Graeme Hick Pavilion side of the ground.
Worcestershire CCC have joined forces with several leading drink and food companies to ensure the public and members have an experience to remember.
Method Coffee of Cherry Tree Walk, Worcester, will be the Coffee Provider, and they source, roast and supply some of the world’s finest coffees.
They work with specialist farms and co-operatives in the most socially responsible way to help build a more sustainable industry.
Organically and ethically produced, Storm Tea, who are tea merchants based in Newcastle upon Tyne, are the Tea Provider. Their focus is on high quality, authentic teas that are complex, refined and always beautiful in the cup.
Worcestershire CCC have also linked up with award-winning baker Peter Cook’s Bread of the Hop Pocket, Bishop’s Frome, Worcester, who used traditional methods for baking speciality bread.
The mission is to try and engage with as many local companies as possible and support the local community.
The New Road Club Shop And Café can seat over 50 people and cater to different dietary needs with vegan and vegetarian options available.
Wines, ciders and beers will also be on sale, and drinks will be sustainably sourced via recycled bottles.
During the summer months, it will be possible to book the balcony area and combine fine food and drinks with watching Worcestershire CCC in action.
