Worcestershire are giving a trial to another member of the South Asian Cricket Academy in pace bowler Muhammad Bilal.
All-rounder, Kashif Ali, recently signed his first ever professional contract, with Worcestershire, after the SACA product impressed for the Seconds and then showed promise in the Vitality Blast.
Now Muhammad Bilal is being given an opportunity for the Seconds in the Championship match with Warwickshire at Portland Road, Edgbaston beginning on Monday (June 27).
He recently impressed for the SACA with returns of 4-49 versus Gloucestershire Seconds and 5-14 against Northamptonshire Seconds in a game where he also scored a half century.
Worcestershire were the first side to play against the SACA in a two-day game at Stratford early in the season.
Jordon Neil, who scored a century for the Seconds against Leicestershire in a Championship fixture at Barnt Green two weeks ago, will have another chance to try and impress in the local derby.
The game also marks opener Josh Dell’s first appearance for Worcestershire this summer after recovering from a broken finger.
