Worcestershire CCC are to take on local rivals Warwickshire CCC as part of their warm-up preparations for the return to competitive action next month.
The two counties are to face each other in a red ball friendly match on Monday 27 July and Tuesday 28 July.
The venue for the match will be confirmed once the new fixture list for 2020 is announced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Worcestershire and Warwickshire have regularly competed against each other during the pre-season build-up in recent years – including during some of Worcestershire’s pre-season tours in Abu Dhabi.
The ECB announced earlier this week that the shortened season beginning from August 1 will consist of red and white ball cricket.
This friendly match is currently scheduled to be played behind closed doors. Further details to follow.
