Adam Hose made another vital contribution with the bat in helping Adelaide Strikers defeat Sydney Thunder by six wickets to maintain their 100 per cent start to the 2022-2023 Big Bash League.
The Worcestershire batter followed up his aggressive 40 in the opening game against Sydney Sixers by seeing the Strikers across the winning line with an unbeaten 28 from 19 balls.
Hose came to the wicket at 92-2 in the 12th over, with Adelaide chasing a total of 150-5 of which Alex Hales struck 68.
Top scorer Matthew Short (65) was dismissed shortly afterwards, but Hose ensured there were no late scares for the Strikers, who won with eight balls to spare.
He collected a couple of boundaries off Nathan McAndrew and finished the game with 2-4-1 from successive deliveries by Gurinder Sandhu.
It sealed a third-wicket win for the Strikers and enabled them to complete a quickfire double over the Thunder after bowling them out for just 15 on Friday.
Henry Thornton picked up two more wickets to take his tally to 11 in three games for Adelaide.
Hose and the Strikers are next in action on Friday away to Brisbane Heat before a short break for Christmas.
