Worcestershire CCC Academy player Cameron Jones has been selected for the 2023 ‘Super Fours’ at the National Performance Centre, Loughborough.
Pace bowler Jones has been chosen for the Midlands side in the four-region tournament which also includes London-East, North and South-West and is being held at the National Performance Centre
Jones was also nominated for the 2022 competition but had to withdraw through injury.

Jones has become a regular member of the Worcestershire Seconds side this season and plays Birmingham and District Premier League cricket for Barnt Green.
Jack Haynes and Adam Finch of the current Worcestershire first-team squad are amongst those who have been selected in the past for the Super Fours.
The tournament is effectively the Under-17s equivalent of the Bunburys but this year it has a different format.
For 18 Under-18 players – including Jones – are playing in the Super Fours because it is being used to help identification for England Under-19s.
Worcestershire Academy Coach, Elliot Wilson, said: Cameron has done really well over the last couple of months.
“He has started to progress and has become more of an influence in second team cricket.
“He continues to go from strength to strength.
“This year there are 18 Under-18s playing in the Super Fours because it is being used to help identification for England Under-19s.”
