Worcestershire Women’s Rapids pace bowler, Amy Maund produced a five star show at Lord’s to help Loughborough University to title glory.
Maund returned the superb figures of 10-2-31-5 in the British Universities and Colleges Sport Women’s Premier final against University of Exeter CC.
It helped her side to a crushing 247 run victory.
Maund shared the new ball and produced a devastating opening nine over spell which brought her four wickets.
She struck in her first, second, fifth and sixth overs and then returned for one final over – the 26th – and completed her five-for.
Loughborough had already made themselves strong favourites by amassing 322-6 in their 47 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat.
Maund ensured they would be victorious with her devastating opening burst as Exeter were bowled out for 78 in 26.2 overs after being set a revised target of 326.
