Matthew Waite produced a superb all-round performance to help Worcestershire Seconds defeat Glamorgan Seconds by 36 runs in a Second Eleven T20 Central Group match at New Road.
Waite smashed an undefeated 94 off just 50 balls in a Worcestershire total of 184-4 after they had elected to bat.
He then picked up four wickets as Glamorgan were bowled out for 148 in 19 overs.
Waite added 63 for the third wicket with Gareth Roderick, 34 off 29 balls, and then 80 for the fourth wicket with Henry Cullen, 30 off 24 balls.
He struck two sixes and 11 fours.
Waite then got to work with the new ball, picking up the first two wickets, and returning to add two more.
His final figures were 3-0-12-4 and he was well supported by Ben Gibbon (3-0-26-2) and Taylor Cornall (3-0-15-2) with Josh Baker (4-0-42-1) and Ben Clarke (2-0-14-1) the other wicket-takers.
The Seconds are also in Central Group action on Wednesday when they take on local rivals Warwickshire at Portland Road (11.30pm start).
Worcestershire opener Jake Libby will continue his comeback from a back injury after scoring a half century for the Seconds last week against Gloucestershire Seconds at Cheltenham College.
