Worcestershire return to Division Two action on Friday after a disappointing defeat last time out to Middlesex, welcoming basement side Gloucestershire.
Welcoming Gloucestershire to New Road for a first County Championship match in three years, Friday provides a vital chance for the Pears to bounce back to winning ways.
Gates open at 10am and adult tickets are just £16 when bought in advance.

Members can get entry to the ground by scanning their 2026 Membership Card. Those who’ve yet to receive their card should visit the main reception on arrival.
Reciprocal Arrangements
Gloucestershire (£5 entry fee), Hampshire, Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Somerset, Glamorgan, Essex and Nottinghamshire members are allowed free entry as long as they are not our opposition. If Worcestershire are playing one of these teams, away members need to purchase a ticket.

Memorabilia Day
Worcestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce the return Memorabilia Day taking place on Saturday 20 June during play on Day Two.
The event will be held in the Chestnut Marquee from 10.00am until 5.00pm and offers supporters and collectors a fantastic opportunity to buy, sell and swap cricket memorabilia.
Day for Thorpey
This week we are celebrating the life and career of former England legend Graeme Thorpe MBE, with money raised supporting people’s mental health through a cricket-based programme.
The day will raise awareness of mental health and funds for the cricket programme “Thorpey’s Bat and Chat.”

If you selected ‘mobile tickets’ at checkout, your ticket is waiting for you in the new Worcestershire CCC Ticket app.
The app can be downloaded from either the
Apple App Store Google Play Store.
Once downloaded, sign in with the email address used to buy the tickets. You’ll be sent a verification code to gain access. Once in, you’ll see the tickets you’ve purchased. The QR codes will activate 24 hours before the game starts. Sending tickets to others is easy. Simply select ‘send ticket’ on the ticket you wish to transfer, and add the recipient’s email address.
Please note that all mobile tickets must be downloaded prior to the game in order to gain entry to the ground. On arrival, just open the app, select your ticket, and present the QR code at the gate for scanning.
For the best experience and to avoid any delays getting into the ground, we recommend downloading your tickets before arriving at the venue and ensuring your phone is fully charged on the day.
Security information
Following the Government’s decision to raise the UK threat level to severe, we’ll be operating increased security protocols for this game. These include:
- 100% bag checks: All bags entering the ground will be searched by a steward. Please note that no sharp objects or glass bottles will be allowed into the ground.
- Visual car inspections: Members using the disabled parking spaces behind the Basil D’Oliveira Stand will have their car visually inspected by a steward at the gate.
Zero tolerance towards harassment

FOOD & DRINK
Cow Corner Coffee
Those visiting New Road for the first time this season will spot a new addition within the food village – Cow Corner Coffee. The newly installed air stream offers breakfast baps, burgers and chips, as well as barista-style coffee and tea, water and soft drinks.
Cow Corner Coffee is not open on Day Four of County Championship matches.
Please note that New Road is a cashless venue
WODR Bar & Cafe
One of the best spots to watch the action, WODR Bar & Cafe, situated next to the family stand, offers the options of covered seating at ground level and some of the best views in the ground from its upper deck.
The space is open to all visitors and will offer a full, draught bar as well as savoury and sweet snacks throughout each day’s play. To make things even easier, we’ve installed a new, digital order point, meaning you don’t have to queue for your drinks.
Purple Granite Bar
It’s hard to miss our newly named ‘Purple Granite Bar’, situated in Scoreboard Plaza opposite the recently refurbished Club shop.
Head here for a wide selection of draught beers, cider and more. You’ll also be able to choose from a variety of snacks, pick up a pot of incredible Bennetts Ice Cream!
On the New Road side of the ground, on the left as you come out of the turnstiles, is the Stowford Press bar.
Severn Suite
Located at the New Road end of the ground and accessible via the stairs opposite the turnstiles, our Severn Suite bar is a great place to relax and watch the cricket from the comfort of the indoors.
The well-stocked bar offers a range of beers, ciders, wines and spirits.
If you’re feeling peckish, you can grab a pasty or samosa, and sandwiches are available from 11 am until 12 pm.

Am I allowed to bring my own food and drinks?
For Rothesay County Championship games, spectators can bring food and soft drinks (no glass) for personal consumption, in a small bag, which will be searched. You may bring in alcohol and you can bring in alcohol free drinks (e.g 0% Guinness, 0% cider), but no glass or wine bottles (4 cans).
