Former Worcestershire skipper and batsman Vikram Solanki is returning to New Road – in aid of Daryl Mitchell's benefit year – in an event organised by Worcester Police Cricket Club.
Solanki, who spent nearly two decades with Worcestershire before moving to Surrey in 2013, will be presenting 'An Audience With Vikram Solanki' in the Graeme Hick Pavilion on Friday, April 15 from 7.30pm.
He will be supported by Daryl himself and another ex County player in paceman Allan Richardson who is now bowling coach at Warwickshire.
In addition there will be comedy provided by Ian 'Sludge' Lees and the evening will be compered by BBC Hereford-Worcester's Dave Bradley.
The evening will include a pie and chips supper – vegetarian options available – and the cost is £15.
Tickets are available from Mark Chappell on 07875 668372
