COACHING VACANCY

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Worcestershire County Cricket Club Academy/Pathway team. We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and committed individual who can support the Academy/Pathway Manager to provide clear vision and direction to the Worcestershire CCC Girls County Age Group programme.

Job Title: Head of Women’s & Girls Pathway
Salary: £8,000 – £10,000 per annum
Contract Type: Part Time (0.5 contract based on 40 hours per week)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide development, communication, administration and co-ordination to the girls CAG programme.
Lead/support the girls EPP
Manage, co-ordinate and coach on the W&G pathway in a lead coach role for two teams across U11, 13, 15 & 17.
Oversee a fair and transparent selection process across the representative programmes.
Lead and recruit, where appropriate, a team of coaches supporting the pathway.
Liaise with our Cricketing partners in particular the Regional ECB Managers.
Attend cricket management meetings
Prepare and monitor annual performance budgets

Knowledge Skills and Experience

Eligibility to work in the UK
ECB Level 3 coaching qualification or equivalent (or working towards)
First aid and safeguarding accredited.
Member of the ECBCA
Understanding of the national W&G performance environment
Clearance to work through the ECB DBS check
Excellent leadership and administration skills
Ability to build strong and sustainable working relationships and partnerships
IT capability (Microsoft Office, Play-Cricket, PitchVision)
Full and valid UK driving license and vehicle access

Based on 20 hours per week, you will be expected to work such hours as necessary for the full and proper exercise of your duties including weekends, Bank Holidays and at such other times as the Club may reasonably require.
