Worcestershire CCC will launch their ECB Under-18 County Competitions red ball campaign when they take on Staffordshire in a three-day game at Old Hill CC beginning on Wednesday (July 28).
The Under-18s have so far taken part in a mixture of 50 over and T20 matches in the competition against Derbyshire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire.
But now the attention switches to the longer format of the game.
The Under-18s will be looking to avenge a one wicket defeat in a 50 over match against Staffordshire at Kidderminster.
Joe Stanley will captain Worcestershire with Luke Powell keeping wicket.
