Worcestershire Under-17s will conclude their Specsavers County Championship programme when they take on their Somerset counterparts in a three-day fixture beginning tomorrow (Monday) at Stourport CC.
The Under-17s will be looking to end their group fixtures on a positive note after triumphing in the opening game against Gloucestershire and then losing to Devon and Hampshire.
They are currently lying in third spot in the five-team table on 36 points – eight ahead of Somerset who have a game in hand.
Joe Miszkowski will be looking to continue the fine form he showed in the second innings against Hants when he top-scored with 74.
Pete Clark will captain the side with Henry Cullen keeping wicket. Play will get underway each day at Stourport at 11am.
Many of the Academy and pathway players are in action this week as on Thursday the Development Squad X1 will take on Warwickshire Under-16s Development X1 at Alcester and Ragley CC (11am).
