Ben Twohig and Ben Cox’s side, Southern Districts, will be looking to hit back with the ball after a day one collapse in the South Australia Cricket Association Premier Cricket first grade match with East Torrens.
Southern Districts were put into bat and reached 138-2 at one stage of the two-day fixture with Brendan McCormack hitting 90.
But the last eight wickets fell for 56 runs with Twohig, batting at number five, dismissed for four and Worcestershire CCC colleague Cox for a breezy 17 off 20 balls with three fours.
Both fell to Luke Robins as Southern District were dismissed for 194 in 79.3 overs and then East Torrens replied with 36-0 from 14 overs with Twohig not having an opportunity to bowl.
The match will be concluded next weekend.
County batsman Josh Dell was dismissed for seven – lbw to Nathan Rowe – before his side, Mosman CC, partially recovered in their two-day New South Wales Premier Cricket first grade fixture with Eastern Suburbs.
Mosman were reduced to 68-6 at one stage after choosing to bat but Matthew Calder (104) and Elijah Eales (42) added 113 for the seventh wicket and steered them to 205 all out in 53.5 overs.
But Eastern Suburbs still ended in a strong position at 106-1 from 42 overs in a game which will be completed tomorrow (Sunday).
