Two Ton Fell Included In Seconds Squad To Face Lancashire At Ombersley

Tom Fell is included in the Worcestershire Seconds squad for today's (Monday's) Second Eleven Trophy match with Lancashire at Ombersley (11am start).

Fell is in prime form having scored centuries in Worcestershire's last two LV = County Championship matches against Leicestershire and Glamorgan.

Opening batsman Matt Pardoe and all-rounder Ross Whiteley, who both played in the opening nine Championship matches of the season, are also included in a 12 strong squad.

Gareth Andrew will captain the side and play purely as a batsman as he continues his comeback from a back problem.

The Seconds will be looking to bounce back from last week's double reversal at the hands of Leicestershire in the Second Eleven Trophy and Second Eleven Championship.

Worcestershire (from): Pardoe, Clarke, Fell, Whiteley, Andrew, Choudhry, Barnard, Rhodes, Cessford, Harrison, Whiles, Hepburn.

The two sides will also meet at Ombersley in a three-day Second Eleven Championship match starting tomorrow (Tuesday ) at 11am.
