Several Worcestershire Women’s Rapids players made important contributions when switching to regional action.
Ellie Anderson continued the impressive form with the ball, which helped the Rapids win the ECB County T20 Group Two tournament the previous weekend.
She returned excellent figures of 4-0-20-4 in helping the Central Sparks Academy to a one wicket win over Northern Diamonds Academy at Durham City CC.
Anderson did even better when in action for Central Sparks 2nds in a 98 run over South East Stars 2nds in a 20 over fixture at Portland Road, Edgbaston.
She picked up the first three wickets on the way to figures of 3.1-0-13-4.
With fellow Rapids player Clare Boycott (3-0-11-2), also impressing, South East Stars were dismissed for 79 in 15.1 overs.
Rapids captain and keeper Chloe Hill hit 37 off 23 balls for Southern Vipers 2nds in an 82 run win over South East Stars 2nds at the same venue.
Hill hit one six, and four fours as the Vipers totalled 177-7, and their opponents were dismissed for 95 in 17.2 overs.
Rapids all-rounder, Charis Pavely, was second top scorer for Central Sparks 2nds, who were dismissed for 125 in 17.5 overs and went down by 16 runs to South East Stars 2nds.
Hill scored 14, and Boycott picked up one wicket in a total of 141-7.
