Josh Tongue will return to the Worcestershire Rapids squad for this evening's NatWest T20 Blast clash with Northamptonshire Steelbacks at Wantage Road.
Tongue has been part of the England Under-19s squad for the past week and made his 'Test' debut against India Under-19s at Queen's Park, Chesterfield.
He returned figures of 27-6-69-3 and 4-1-19-1 and scores of six and three as India romped to a convincing victory.
Tongue was only ever part of the squad for the opening Test and rejoins his County team-mates after their opening T20 Blast win of the summer last night against Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge.
He is added to the 12 players originally selected for the game – the 11 who played plus George Rhodes.
Tongue has taken 34 Specsavers County Championship wickets this summer in an impressive start to his senior career.
But he has still to make his first appearance in the short format of the game.
