Worcestershire Director Of Cricket Steve Rhodes is selecting from a 12 strong squad for the three-day clash with Leeds-Bradford MCCU at Weetwood starting today (Friday).
Paceman Josh Tongue is included to face the students after making his first class debut for the County 12 months ago against Oxford MCCU in The Parks and creating a favourable impression.
He will be hoping his injury problems are behind him after successfully coming through rehab following back surgery in September.
The County have an additional week to prepare for the start of the County Championship programme against Glamorgan at the SWALEC Stadium on April 14 after not being involved in the opening round of matches.
Rhodes said: "We've tried to play as many people as possible (in the warm-up games against Somerset and Gloucestershire) and that's what has happened.
"When you look at the games, we've been a little bit rusty – but that is what they are there for, to try and get rid of that rust.
"We've got another week to go before we start and the likes of Somerset and Gloucestershire start earlier than us so they were a little bit more advanced and we've got another week to get ourselves right."
