Steve Rhodes has named a 13 strong squad for Worcestershire Rapids top-two clash with Yorkshire Vikings in tomorrow's Royal London One-Day Cup meeting at New Road.
Director Of Cricket Rhodes has added paceman Josh Tongue and all-rounder George Rhodes to the 11 players in action in the thrilling tie with Northamptonshire Steelbacks under lights at a bitterly cold Wantage Road yesterday evening.
Tongue has played in the two Championship matches – his first for the County – and made significant contributions to the wins over Glamorgan and Northamptonshire.
Rhodes scored a superb 134 not out for the Seconds in their Trophy win over Nottinghamshire at Oakham School earlier this week.
He also made his senior debut in last summer's One-Day Cup clash with the Vikings, returning 2-34 from 10 overs in the televised encounter at Headingley.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore warmed up for tomorrow's clash by hitting a century for the Seconds against Derbyshire at Kidderminster today (see separate report).
