Worcestershire all-rounder Tom Taylor will return to action for the Seconds in the first of two T20 friendlies against Oxford UCCE at Stourport-on-Severn on Wednesday (May 15).
Taylor, signed from Northamptonshire on a four year contract last winter, was injuried in a Second Eleven Championship match with Gloucestershire at Kidderminster in early April.
But he has gradually been stepping up his rehab and was able to bowl in practice when with the squad for the Vitality County Championship encounter with Kent at Canterbury.
Another newcomer in Ethan Brookes, who was part of the squad which travelled to Kent, will play in both matches.
Off spinner Chris Ellison, an Under-18 pathway player from New Zealand who plays league cricket for Pershore, is included in both squads.
The games are warm-up fixtures for the ECB T20 competition with Worcestershire launching their group programme against Somerset at Ombersley on Monday, May 20.
