Worcestershire CCC Academy bowler Dylan Pennington was amongst the wickets for Shropshire in their Unicorns Trophy group encounter with Cheshire at Oxton.
The paceman picked up three of the last four wickets to fall and finished with 3-29 from 7.5 overs as Cheshire were dismissed for 214 in the 47th of their 50 overs.
Pennington, who also plays for Shrewsbury CC, is in his first full year as part of the Academy programme after initially joining half-way through the 2015-2016 intake.
His efforts were in vain, however, as Shropshire were dismissed for 168 in the 39th over.
County opener Ollie Westbury, who had scored a haf century the previous weekend against Staffordshire in another group match, was dismissed for a single.
*Adam Hussain top-scored for Worcestershire Under-17s who went down by 182 runs to their Warwickshire counterparts at Shrewsbury.
Hussain made 48 off 63 balls with one six and six fours as Worcestershire were dismissed for 144 in 39.5 overs.
Zain Ul Hassan – 37 off 40 balls with one six and three fours – was the other main contributor with Matt Davis (16) the other player into double figures.
Warwickshire had earlier scored 326-4 in their 50 overs.
